Our Staff

Kenny Ly first moved from the U.S. to Shanghai in 2002 as a high schooler himself. He has been working with middle and high school students since 2004, and in a full-time capacity since 2012. He is an experienced communicator, having been invited to be the key-note speaker at youth events and conferences both in Shanghai and abroad. An accomplished outdoor guide, he has spent over 10 years guiding camping/climbing/hiking outdoor adventure trips to places such as Guizhou, Linan, Krabi, Yangshou, and Shanghai. He has played the guitar since the age of 9, loves to sing, and dabbles with other instruments as well. He met his wife Katie while completing his bachelor's degree in the United States. They now have four beautiful daughters together. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, learning card tricks, free-style rapping (poorly), inventing bad puns, and drinking good coffee.
